Team America: World Police
6.5/10. Watched this yesterday evening on DVD; I would've seen it in theaters, but it never opened here.
Take out the smattering of political and social commentary, and this is really just Hot Shots! Part Trois, with marionettes. Also, I thought the South Park movie was much funnier.

I remember laughing out loud a few times, but there was something about this movie's underlying revenge fantasy that left me a little put off, even with puppets...which I normally like, puppets, that is...
There's too much reliance on playing the clichés of the genre straight -- but with marionettes!
I spent most of my time admiring the puppets, cinematography and art direction.
