The Road to Guantánamo

7.5/10. Saw this Saturday afternoon at the Movie in Bern.

Full of powerful moments, particularly when the action moves to Guantánamo. But it's amazing how a movie with both documentary interviews and dramatic recreations could turn out so abstruse.

What were those British guys doing in Afghanistan anyway? Neither the friend I saw the movie with nor I could tell you. And while this a minor quibble if you go in believing that Guantánamo Bay is a human rights scandal, it's a lethal flaw if you're someone still in need of convincing.
