V for Vendetta

8.5/10. Watched this yesterday evening on DVD.

A dull, self-important trailer and harrowing memories of The Matrix Reloaded kept me from seeing this one in theaters. What a mistake. Not only is V for Vendetta one of the year's most entertaining movies, it's among the most politically brave movies I've ever seen.
