Snakes on a Plane

5.5/10. Saw this Saturday afternoon at the City in Bern.

I'm a fan of David R. Ellis, who previously directed Final Destination 2 and Cellular, both solid Hollywood 'B' movies (which are rarer than they should be). But while Snakes on a Plane has a unique concept and an appealing cast, there isn't much of a story here, and so finally there's little to engage the viewer beyond waiting to see who lives and who dies.
