6/10. Saw this Saturday afternoon at the Rex in Bern.

It's funny and smart, but not nearly as funny and smart as I was expecting. And yes, some guy at a rodeo says something awful about homosexuals, and apparently frat boys are racist and sexist. But what's most startling about the people Borat encounters is their patience and composure.

When Borat spasmodically trashes some items at an antique store, the owner calmly lets him know how much the items cost. And when Borat brings a bag of his own feculent to the table at a dinner party, his hostess leads him back to the bathroom for a friendly tutorial.
