Marie Antoinette

6/10. Saw this last Saturday afternoon at the Splendid in Bern.

I loved Lost in Translation, so I decided to give Sofia Coppola the benefit of the doubt & see Marie Antoinette, despite not having heard much good about it. Unfortunately, it is -- like too many biographical movies -- a series of moments with nothing to unify them except the fact that they all involve the same person. Nice soundtrack, though, particularly "All Cats Are Grey" over the end credits.
