A Prairie Home Companion

7.5/10. Saw this on May 17 at the Splendid in Bern.

This affectionate tribute to Garrison Keillor's long-running radio show doesn't quite hold together as a narrative movie, despite various attempts at traditional storytelling. Still, it's got plenty of charm, and it's full of entertaining bits & pieces. And it works quite well as an epilogue (albeit an unintended one) to the career of its late director, Robert Altman.
