Stagecoach

7.5/10. Watched this on May 15 on DVD.

While it’s undeniably of historical significance -- it changed people's perceptions about what a western could be & singlehandedly made John Wayne an A-list star -- judged on its own terms, Stagecoach is merely very good. It certainly doesn’t measure up to some of the truly great westerns that Wayne & director John Ford would make together later on.
