Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

7.5/10. Saw this Saturday evening at the Bubenberg in Bern.

Hardly a bad movie, but I think with Goblet of Fire the Harry Potter books officially became too long to comfortably adapt into feature films. T
he key moments are all dutifully rendered, and with more than a little bit of spirit and style. However, they rush by so breathlessly that the overall effect is impressive, but not especially affecting or immersive.

My thoughts exactly. When it wraps up, and someone says, "So...another year at Hogwarts," I was honestly startled. I thought it had been about three super busy weeks.
