Ultraviolet

5/10. Watched this Saturday evening on DVD.

Apparently, Screen Gems took this movie away from its writer/director Kurt Wimmer and cut about a half-hour out of it. And now guess what? It doesn't make any sense!

Still, it's visually impressive, with Shanghai and CGI combined to great effect. And star Milla Jovovich is much more compelling here than she was in the last Resident Evil movie.
