A step backward for Lucky McKee, whose previous movie was the impressive May. There's nothing wrong with McKee's direction, and the acting and technical specs are strong. The problem is the script by David Ross, which starts off well but eventually collapses. There is a kind of movie that doesn't need to make sense; this is not that kind of movie.
