Prom Night

3.5/10. Watched this yesterday evening on DVD.

I thought it'd be fun to revisit one of the original slasher movies. It wasn't, and in fact Prom Night is for the most part incredibly boring.

That said, the scene where Jamie Lee Curtis and her boyfriend take to the floor to dance to the title song ("Prom night/everything is alright/prom night/no more feelin' uptight") and show their rival "what we can do" deserves repeated viewings.
