La carrière de Suzanne

7.5/10. Watched this last Tuesday evening on DVD.

The second of Eric Rohmer's "Moral Tales" clocks in at just under an hour, and with richer, more complicated characters & relationships than "Boulangère", the extra time is warranted. On the technical side, however, the movie's scope occasionally exceeds Rohmer's grasp.
