A competent thriller about the mysterious deaths of twenty-seven Mexican workers in a collapsed tunnel in Tijuana. Jeff Daniels stars as a human-rights activist, and Clifton Collins Jr. (so great in Capote) costars as a local cop. Also featured are James Spader and Portia de Rossi.
