Toronto Film Critics Association Awards

Finally, some year-end recognition for the year's best movie, L'enfant (which I wrote about previously here and here).

The Toronto Film Critics Association chose "The Queen" as the best picture of 2006... The film's director, Stephen Frears split the directing nod with Jean-Pierre Dardenne & Luc Dardenne for their Belgian drama "L'Enfant"... "L'Enfant" was [also] named best foreign-language film.
