Slither

7/10. Watched this Sunday morning on DVD.

Like Hostel and The Hills Have Eyes, Slither never made it to Swiss theaters, so I had to catch up with it on DVD.

Billed as an homage to the freewheeling horror of the 80's, it's actually much more focused on script and acting than most of those movies. (Michael Rooker's performance deserves special mention.) Plus, while the movie is gory, it's mostly concentrated on a few showpiece moments rather than spread out from start to finish. Recommended.
