7/10. Saw this Saturday afternoon at the Royal in Bern.

Taken on its own terms, the latest from Woody Allen is a slight but charming romantic caper (à la Manhattan Murder Mystery) with a delightful comic turn from Scarlett Johansson.

Still, Scoop has so much in common with Allen's previous movie, Match Point, it's easy to imagine that the two movies are meant to continue the "comedy vs. drama" argument explored in Melinda and Melinda.
