The Bad Sleep Well

8/10. Saw this on March 14 at the BFI Southbank in London.

Anything by Akira Kurosawa is worth seeing. However, this revenge drama about corporate corruption doesn't measure up to the director's many masterpieces. For the most part it's solid stuff, but the overlong third act meanders, and Toshiro Mifune is criminally underused.
