Madhouse

7/10. Watched this yesterday evening on DVD.

One learns not to expect much from low-budget direct-to-DVD horror movies, but clearly the decision not to release Madhouse theatrically had nothing to do with its quality. More likely the distributor just wasn't sure how to sell a confidently-paced spooker with a relatively low body count.
