Adrienne Shelly Murdered
A follow-up to this post:
Prosecutors have charged a man with murdering actress Adrienne Shelly, who was found hanging from a shower rod in her West Village office last Wednesday... Police have charged 19-year-old Diego Pillco, of the 300-block of Prospect Avenue in Brooklyn, with second degree murder. Sources tell CBS 2 that Pillco, a construction worker, apparently confessed to the crime.You'll find the full story here.

This death does rate extremely highly in the "senseless" category. Incredible. It just leaves you speechless.
I know what you mean. I didn't really know what to say about it, other than to just post the news. I still don't have any fully-formed thoughts about it.
But I do keep ruminating on stupid, random moments of violence, and how in just a few seconds so many lives can be destroyed. But this always leads me to somewhat pity the man who killed Shelly, which I'm not yet prepared to do...
